Papayas are fruits that remind us of the tropics, the region from where they grow. It has a particular sweet, mild flavour and a soft creamy consistency. Because of its pleasant aroma, delicious flavour and longer shelf-life, we chose the Formosa variety as our READY TO EAT papayas. This variety is also one of the largest and can weigh more than a couple kilos. In addition to its high vitamin C and Potassium content, papayas are rich in papain, an enzyme that helps digest proteins. Treat yourself with this bright, pear-shaped exotic fruit for breakfast, as a snack or even use it for cooking to adding an exotic twist of taste.
